The past fortnight has been busy with many of Australia's biggest studs revealing their stallion fees for the upcoming breeding season.

Having earlier announced that Too Darn Hot would return to Australia, to stand for $275,000, Darley this week revealed that his son Broadsiding would join him with a fee of $66,000 set. Traffic Warden also joins the Kelvinside roster at $22,000. Another son of Street Boss, Anamoe has had a slight haircut, from $121,000 to $110,000.

The Coolmore Stud Stakes and Caulfield Guineas from last year have also been retired in the past week with Switzerland (Snitzel) and Private Life (Written Tycoon) to stand for $60,500 and $19,250 respectively. The biggest news at Coolmore, however, was that Wootton Bassett (Iffraaj) would return at a yet-to-be-confirmed fee. Home Affairs (I Am Invincible) will again stand for $82,500, while established stars So You Think ($77,000 to $44,000) and Pierro ($55,000 to $33,000) have both had fee cuts.

Ole Kirk, the son of Written Tycoon who leads the race for this season's Champion First-Season Sire award, has been rewarded for his outstanding results and is now the clear king-pin on the Vinery roster at $99,000, having stood his first four years at $55,000.

Castelvecchio was the big mover at Arrowfield with the son of Dundeel ($88,000) and sire of Aeliana having his fee more than doubled from $22,000 to $49,500. Fresh off another Golden Slipper win, Snitzel remains at $247,500, while The Autumn Sun returns to duty at $66,000 after a season off due to injury.

Newgate was the first of the big names to release its fees, going on March 30, when it revealed that Extreme Choice would stand for an equal-Australian high of $330,000.

Widden revealed its fees overnight Wednesday with all of its existing stallions standing at either unchanged or reduced fees, including Australian Champion Stallion contender Zoustar who will again be $275,000. New shuttler Cogburn, a son of Not This time, has been set at $27,500, while Southport Tycoon heads up the Victorian roster at $38,500.
