After the Epsom excitements we head south on Sunday.
Longchamp hosts two G3s the first of which is the Prix Paul de Moussac over 1400m for 3yos and there are 9 runners. Maranoa Charlie, by Wootton Bassett, is a pupil of Christopher Head and will be ridden by Aurelien Lemaitre and they are on 2/1.
There are two Wetheimers who are with Ferland – Silius, a Dubawi colt with Guyon riding and they are on 9/2 and the filly Polyvega, who gets a weight advantage, a Lope de Vega daughter, will have Pasquier in the irons and they are on 10/1.
La Coupe is over 2000m and has Goliath and Iresine top of the 7 runner field. Goliath will welcome the return home after racing in Japan and Hong Kong without success and is on 5/6 and Iresine likes Longchamp and will have regular partner Marie Velon on board – 2/1 the quote.
At Hoppegarten it's the G3 Diana Trial for 3yo fillies over 2000m. The unbeaten Golden Horn filly Lady Charlotte is on 6/4 for Wöhler- Adrie de Vries and Nicorini 2/1. She's by Brametot and is trained by Peter Schiergen with Andresch Starke, recently returned from a successful stint in Japan, on board.
