Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 20.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Coffs Harbour, Geelong, Rockhampton and Canberra.
COFFS HARBOUR: RACE 6 @ 3:10 PM
YENDY (3) last appeared when beaten just 2.5 lengths in a Class 5 over 1200m at Doomben twenty-three days ago. Gets in beautifully with 2kgs less today after the claim. Honest mare who will be peaking at the fourth run back from a spell. XTRA APPROVAL (2) made late ground to get up for second in this grade at Taree recently. Very fit gelding who is a chance again over this slightly longer journey. BOW (5) was safely held last start in a BM82 at Inverell when coming off a forty-day break. Capable sprinter with each-way claims. Track specialist MONTE OUTLANDER (8) will be better for this run but can never be ruled out when racing at Coffs. OSTRACISED (7) has been edged out at his last couple, the most recent over today's trip at Ballina. Rock hard fit and looks sure to run well again.
SELECTIONS: Backing Yendy.

GEELONG: RACE 7 @ 3:00 PM
Competitive. PRINCESS TORO (11) just missed in a 64 before the spell and resumed in a CL1 with a 1.6L defeat at Cranbourne as a well-supported favourite. Strips fitter and she won her only second-up outing. She will position forward and will be hard to roll. MY ANGEL SHELL (8) disappointed here last time but had been tracking well prior. His best is good enough and John Allen sticking aboard is a positive. The blinkers are off and the winkers go on. CARDIOLOGIST (1) led and won this grade comfortably from the front at Hamilton. The 2kg claim is handy, and it's hard to risk a leading metro barn. He's sure to give a big sight. JUGGERNAUT JOAN (17) gets into the field and was quickly back on track placing in a 64 at Swan Hill. She has more to offer but needs a good ride.
SELECTIONS: Princess Toro appeals most.
ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 5 @ 2:42 PM
No shortage of genuine hopes in this race. NICKELBACK (9) surged home in the latest to run third at Mackay and will be well suited by the longer straight today. Respect. LOOSE UNIT (8) has ability and has been kept on the fresh side after being beaten 4 lengths in the latest at this track. Rates as one of the main hopes. EXECUTIVE STRESS (1) was a bit off his best last time after winning three in a row, and can bounce right back today. THE LAST SAGA (11) ran a very nice race here two back and has to be respected on that form. PAPASITO (3) should go forward and be in this for a long way. SIAN STAR (7) can also be added to the long list of chances.
SELECTIONS: Nickelback should come up as a nice each-way price and we're happy to be with him.
CANBERRA ACTON: RACE 4 @ 2:15 PM
LONDON BOY (2) has been beaten a whisker in his last two and was backed off the map at Goulburn last time. He's on a quick backup and gets in well with the 4kg claim. Has the outside barrier but is good enough to manage. COLD MIST (1) has been beaten 1L here in his last two. He led last time and gets the opportunity to do the same here. Krogh sticks, and he's a live chance. ROUGE HOMME (5) just missed a place here last time, quickly back to form. Maps well and will strip fitter. He's capable of fighting out the finish. SUPERIOR FUN (11) has been kept on the fresh side and drops back to a sprint. Has a wide gate but her near miss at the Sapphire Coast two back rates strongly. The 4kg claim brings her into it.
SELECTIONS: Going with London Boy.
