For their return to competition, Paul Foo-Kune Stable have signed South African jockey Donavan Mansour. With approval granted by the Gambling Regulatory Authority, he is expected to ride during track work tomorrow morning.

Donavan Mansour remains a well known name among Mauritian racegoers, having ridden on three separate occasions at Champ de Mars. He was crowned Champion Jockey in 2016 while representing Rameshwar Gujadhur Stable. Prior to that, he rode for the former Serge Henry Stable in 2012 and the ex-Hurlywood Stable in 2014.

In total, he has ridden 57 winners at the Champ de Mars.

Following Brazil's Manoel Nunes, who returns for Gujadhur Stable, Donavan Mansour becomes the second foreign jockey officially engaged for the 2025 racing season.
