Best bets for nine-race card at Morphettville Parks on Saturday.

Best of the day comes I race six where I'm with consistent mare Tahnee Treasure from the Peter Hardacre camp.

The five-year-old mare is yet to strike through this campaign but has built nicely into this fourth-up assignment.

The Merchant Navy mare wasn't far off matching her peak rating last start over the mile at Murray Bridge, only gobbled up late by 3YO Listed winner Snoopy Now. That form stacks right up for this, as she tackles a trip she relishes rock-hard fit. Suspect her to take plenty of stitching.

Another I'm eager to follow up on is Great Maximus from the sharp Richard & Chantelle Jolly yard.

The four-year-old son of Magnus was a handy winner in stronger company two weeks ago and gets weight relief with talented apprentice Taylor Johnstone taking 2kgs off.

A progressive sprinter on the rise from a top stable - black type looks only a matter of time.
