Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for July 6.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meeting are today held at Grafton, Mudgee, Warrnambool, Sale, Townsville, Kilcoy, Port Augusta, Bunbury and Hobart.
GRAFTON: RACE 4 @ 1:00 PM
FULL OF SINCERITY (1) tough on pace stayer who maps to get the right run. Nailed late with the 60kg when a close second over 2020m in the Murwillumbah Cup Preview. Senior rider booked and doesn't have to improve much to win this. NATURE BOY (3) pulled up with a poor post recovery rate after working hard early from the outside gate when a fading eighth over 2500m at Ipswich. Gets a much better run today and saves his best for this track. SHERRIFF CODY (4) nearing his peak after catching the eye late when a solid fourth over 2020m at Murwillumbah. Has the figures to take this out. STYLEBENDER (5) racing in career best form and deserves his chance in this harder race. Has won over the 2100m and adept in all conditions. CASCADE MOUNTAIN (6) looks the pick of the rest on the quick back-up.
SELECTIONS: Full Of Sincerity to assert his class.

MUDGEE: RACE 2 @ 1:27 PM
ANOTHER PEACH (9) couldn't be any better placed in this field to break through first-up in her second preparation. Trialled well, nicely drawn and lack of depth in opposition makes her hard to go past. GREAT IDEA (2) was a big drifter on debut back in March but ran a handy race before being spelled. Another trial winner leading into this and stays under notice. THE GIT UP (12) missed a place at Narromine last time which is rare for her and she's an each-way chance from the inside alley. SILENT ACE (6) is a big watch on debut for local trainer and leading jockey. THOR'S LIGHTNING (7) needs to improve but has the chance to at this trip.
SELECTIONS: Another Peach to win.
WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 3 @ 2:00 PM
Sensational race despite the small field. LOFT (2) has been kept nice and fresh with this in mind, by the looks. Narrowly missed the minor placings in the listed Ramsden at Flemington and latest, and now gets over the hurdles where he's unbeaten. Looks the one to beat. NORMANDY BRIDGE (5) is capable of taking it right up to the top pick. Won a hurdles maiden at Terang last start and deserves a crack in a race like this. Respect. ENCHANTED ELLE (6) will push forward and should give them plenty to catch here. Comes into this off a near miss in a tough hurdle race at Casterton and looks perfectly suited back to this trip. RIGHT NOW (1) is another one who drops in trip off a freshen up, and can bounce back today. NASSAK DIAMOND (3) gets back over the sticks now which she seems to enjoy, so don't rule her out. SELECTIONS: LOFT looks the one to beat here, and more than happy to be in his corner.

Tipping PRIVATE JUMBO (1) improves quickly second up. The fresh effort at Sandown Hillside was a nice pipe opener off a seven month spell, working home solidly for a narrow fifth over 1300m. Comes back a notch or two here and his form last time in reads very well for this. GLOVE ARTIST (3) was a tidy BM58 winner at Geelong when last seen and won't need to improve much off that to be figuring here. CRYSTANADO (6) is racing consistently and has drawn to get every chance. Should be able to settle closer this time and has improvement to come second up. GRINZINGER EARL (5) was a good winner fresh and can go on with it.
SELECTIONS: Private Jumbo to win.
TOWNSVILLE: RACE 7 @ 3:50 PM
ROWEINER'S DANCE (2) is fast and has won 2/3 this preparation and just missed the other. Draws to advantage and gets in well again with the 2kg claim. Will get all the favours and can go on with the job. NORTHERN EXPRESS (3) brought decent metro form to the Listed Weetwood and was outgraded. Resumed here as favourite and looked a run short. Flies second up and with Butler up should go close. TURBEAU (6) found more like his best winning at Cairns. Draws low today and Wiggins sticks aboard. Come back to a shorter sprint freshened and can't be ruled out. LOUD NOISE (12) rates well enough on the Cairns win and tumbles in weight. LADY RAIN (10) resumes and would be in the frame at best. Goes on the fresh side but the outside gate makes it tough.
SELECTIONS: Roweiner's Dance appeals.
KILCOY: RACE 3 @ 12:56 PM
MORGANITE (3) hails from the Tony Gollan stable and has been racing well in the country this prep. She was third at Dalby nearly 5 weeks ago, and her trainer seldom treks to this track without picking up the main prize money. Hard to beat. HI JULES (2) made some solid progress last prep and was second here in her last run before having a spell. She wants a wet track, and with a strong record fresh up, she will be hard to hold out. DASHING HOPE (7) wasn't far off the mark at the Sunshine Coast last start and has to be included in the main hopes. SPIRIT OF STORM (4) can improve back in grade and appears the best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Morganite each way.
PORT AUGUSTA: RACE 8 @ 4:52 PM
This looks the race for INTACTO (3). She's on the quick back-up after hitting the line well in a stronger race at Murray Bridge on Wednesday. She's untested at this track but her better recent form looks better than her rivals. EASTSIDE DIAMOND (12) was a winner here two starts back before disappointing last time. She can easily bounce back from a good draw. WILLASTON (5) is another who put in a below par effort last time. Prior form was good enough to be considered a genuine top three chance in this. CLASSY BANNER (2) can run a cheeky race fresh, while MISTNACES (8) brings winning form to this and can go back-to-back.
SELECTIONS: Intacto to win.
BUNBURY: RACE 6 @ 5:45 PM
SANTANOVA (5) looks a progressive filly and got the job done by 0.8L at Northam last time out. It looks as though she's ready to go on with the job and the slight rise in trip shouldn't be an issue. Chris Parnham sticks and she looks poised to strike once again. LINDEN'S GOLD (3) drops back in trip again after being caught late in the race. He didn't have the best of luck there however and now Pike hops in the saddle. Sure to go close if he can run up to his latest figures. IMAPAGETHREE GIRL (9) hit the line nicely at Kalgoorlie last start and draws better this time with Fiore now doing the steering. She's a third-up winner in the past and she can play a major role in the outcome. DUKE OF WELLINGTON (11) wasn't beaten far here last start and the form out of that race has worked out well. Has to be included. ZOUBOLTZ (8) can sit closer this time around and the from coming from his last start has stacked up well. Include.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Santanova.
HOBART: RACE 9 @ 3:55 PM
WINEGLASS BAY (1) switched from the Waller yard and won this grade first up. He has plenty up his sleeve and will enjoy the step up to the mile. Maps well and is thrown in with the 3kg claim. He can go on with it. SAILOR (5) is busting to win and up again to the mile suits. Sits right down in the weights and that brings him right into it. GENERAL ASSEMBLY (2) resumes over a mile but that shouldn't be an issue. He's capable and jumping from an inside gate will control the race. The 2kg claim is handy and he will give a big sight. JUST A NEEDS (3) was plainer last time heavily bet again but she was back to a sprint and can get back on track over this distance. In the mix. GEE GEE MISS QUITA (4) is going well but will likely find a few better.
