Australian thoroughbred TAB meeting are today held at Narrandera, Grafton, Bendigo, Kilmore,
Sunshine Coast, Kalgoorlie, Port Hedland, Devonport and Alice Springs.

NARRANDERA: RACE 3 @ 1:30 PM

FIRST DAY (5) is in top form at the moment and couldn't have impressed more when scoring by a space at Wagga a few weeks ago. No harder here and the form has been confirmed. Should take some beating again. DUE CALZINI (4) had his chance to beat First Day then broke through on the synthetic at Canberra. He is racing well and gets a 3kg weight swing to give him a shot. DOC MARCH (10) is still a maiden but racing quite well of late with placings at his past two. Trip should suit and he's an each-way hope. TAUMATA (6) and FINAL COMMENT (3) both disappointed in their latest but on best efforts could easily improve into placings.
SELECTIONS: First Day to win.

GRAFTON: RACE 5 @ 3:25 PM

SO YOU READY (4) progressive gelding who doesn't have to improve much to take this out. Covered ground in the run and closed strongly when an unlucky second over 2200m at Scone. Gets a better run today and looks too good for these. FULMEN FILOU (3) proven at this course and distance and has impressed with his three runs for the new yard. Back in trip from the sticky gate when a gritty second over 1812m at Port Macquarie. Went under narrowly here, two back and looks the main danger. CAPTAIN GOOD VIBES (2) comes down from the Gold Coast with a handy record at this trip. Senior rider engaged and likely to roll forward. Each way. TOP LEVEL (14) settled back last start then made a sustained run to finish third over 1680m at Ipswich. In the mix.
SELECTIONS: So You Ready to assert her class.

BENDIGO: RACE 10 @ 4:40 PM

YAM (1) is hard to knock in recent form having won his past three in a row. He proved far too good here last time out on heavy ground which seems to be the key to his form. Up in weight again but should go close once more. QUELLO DORATO (8) is a lightly raced type for the O'Brien yard who won his maiden impressively on wet ground at Sale last start. Has plenty of upside and the 1600m shouldn't pose an issue. OUR LONE STAR (7) was much better last start here and a repeat of that effort has him in the finish. SPEAK (5) resumes and has the ability to run well as does MOSCOW RED (15) following a sound second over 1600m at Ballarat when beaten a nose.
SELECTIONS: Yam to go on with it.

KILMORE: RACE 5 @ 3:10 PM

TEDDY BOY (2) brings a win and a near miss from Moe on soft tracks and he jumps from the rail and may control the race. Has to run out the middle distance but will get every chance to do so. CELNADO (1) has been around the mark and didn't have much luck here last time on the heavy. Fit and expect him to run it out. Stablemate SHEER LUNACY (5) is also well seasoned and gets in well with a 3kg claim. SURREAL WINSTON (11) finished among the placings last time when second at this track and should be further improved, can figure in the finish. SECOND NATURE (7) returned from a layoff last start and was ninth over 1400m. Fitter and worth including in wider plays.
SELECTIONS: With Teddy Boy.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 3 @ 1:50 PM

CORVALIST (2) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in ten of 13 starts overall and strikes a very winnable contest here. Gets some handy weight relief with the 2kg claim and has placed three from four when fresh. Expecting a well-deserved victory here. SIGLO DE ORO (3) didn't measure up in town last time out but go on the close-up second at Murwillumbah two back. Can play a role from the favourable draw. Former Victorian SMART SHAZZA (8) is having her first run for the new stable but should find this task easier than what she faced down south. Respect any market confidence. HEAVY REIGN (9) has placed two from two over this sprint journey and may run a race while fresh. OVERTERN (6) next best from the inside alley.
SELECTIONS: Corvalist to finally break through.

KALGOORLIE: RACE 1 @ 3:20 PM

SHINE AND BURN (4) looks primed and ready to break through now, resuming off a sound trial performance. Ran some strong numbers last campaign in tougher maidens and can lead this from start to finish. The one to beat. OUR DESPERADO (1) placed 3rd here last start beaten 3.5 len and looks well in the each-way mix again. THROW ME A KISS (6) has moved across from Victoria and can measure right up here. Keep safe. HEILUNG (5) resumes in a tricky maiden, but best figured would have her somewhere in the each-way chances. GIBRALTAR GOLD (7) is first-up off a very long spell, and might well surprise these. Respect market moves.
SELECTIONS: Very keen on Shine And Burn here.

PORT HEDLAND: RACE 7 @ 6:56 PM

CHUCK A LUCK (6) should appreciate the rise in trip after being run off his feet last start at Carnarvon over the mile. The visors come off now and this race looks to suit a lot better. His form over this longer journey in stronger races is superb for a race like this and he can bounce back to that form today. STAY WEALTHY (1) just missed over 1800m at Roebourne a fortnight ago and steps out to this trip for the first time in his career. He has the speed to cross from out wide and in doing so, he may be able to dictate the speed from up front. Will be in this for a long way. ZADAR ROCK (2) beat home Stay Wealthy last start when jumping the race favourite and won't be hindered by the rise in distance. The inside draw should see him in a handy position and there's no reason why he can't repeat the dose. ARCHER COUNTY (3) won impressively over the mile last start and has claims out in trip. BLAZING TYCOON (5) is in the same boat and won't be far away.
SELECTIONS: Chuck A Luck looks the one to beat in the last.

DEVONPORT SYNTHETIC: RACE 7 @ 3:40 PM

THOROS OF MYR (3) just missed twice before leading and winning this grade/trip comfortably. He keeps improving and can go on with the job. FURNEAUX (2) brings decent Hobart form and the leading jockey stays aboard. Maps for a soft run and can fight out the finish. WARICA (6) is also racing well and placed second behind the top selection last time. Has a low barrier today and can get closer. CORNELIAN BAY (8) got too far back in the same race but ran a strong number prior when nudged out by the above. He has to be included as well. GEEGEE JET BY (1) will be around the mark again if things go his way.
SELECTIONS: Sticking with Thoros Of Myr.

ALICE SPRINGS: RACE 1 @ 11:43 AM

LUSKIN HERO (2) has been well placed to win his last couple of starts on the bounce. He won't find this much harder, and has carried more weight to win in the past. He has the advantage of the pole position, and the hat-trick beckons. KICKATORP (1) has been third in both of her starts back from a spell at Alice Springs and lines up here with the blinkers back on. He is peaking at the right time and has a handy record on this circuit. Each way claims again. BOY BIG (4) is racing as well as ever and was runner-up behind the top pick in the same race last time out. He is better off at the weights and can finish a lot closer this time. Stick with him. EXPERT WITNESS (3) has been spelling since a couple of runs earlier in the year at Alice Springs. He can be competitive at this level and has won 4 times fresh up in the past. Don't risk him. BOLD TROPIC (5) needs to improve, but his past form has been good enough to see him feature in fields like this.
SELECTIONS: Luskin Hero to win.
